The Pivot Report app supports Jira system fields and custom fields.
Supported Jira system fields
Pivot Report supports all system fields in Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Jira Customer Service Management (CSM). To use JSM with Pivot Report, follow the steps in the related article.
The app also supports fields that no longer appear in the Issue Navigator, such as Epic Link. You can add these fields as columns in the Breakdown section. Note that the Parent column in the Issue Navigator appears as Parent Issue in reports.
Supported fields across apps
All fields supported by the Worklogs Report app are also supported by Pivot Report.
In addition, Pivot Report supports time-based fields, such as Original Estimate and Time Spent, rollup fields, such as ∑ Story points, and issue link types, such as Blocked by.
Supported custom fields
In the Progress section, Pivot Report supports only two Jira custom field types: Number and Formula.
Other report sections support all custom field types, including custom date fields, which you can use in the Slices and Breakdown sections.
App-specific fields
Pivot Report also provides app-specific fields:
-
Overspent: Shows the number of hours by which an issue's Remaining Estimate exceeds its Original Estimate.
-
Underspent: Shows the number of hours by which an issue's Time Spent is less than its Original Estimate.
-
Top parent: Shows the highest-level parent in the issue hierarchy. If a report uses a custom hierarchy that includes initiatives or other issue types, this field shows the top-level issue in that hierarchy.
-
Time in Status and Work Ratio: Provide additional reporting metrics. See their respective articles for details.
