This article explains why and how to enable usage statistics for the Pivot Report app in Jira Data Center.

Why should you enable usage statistics for the app?

By enabling the options shown below, which activate usage statistics, you help Colined understand your reporting needs and improve the Pivot Report app. No personal or business data is collected as part of this process.

These options also assist our team during troubleshooting calls, especially when a HAR file cannot be provided.

How can you access usage statistics options?

As a Jira admin, follow these steps:

Open the Settings menu in Jira’s top navigation bar, by clicking on the gear icon.
From the dropdown, choose Manage apps.
Within the Apps settings page, click on Settings from the list of Pivot Report configuration options.
On the ‘Pivot Report Settings’ page, select Usage Statistics.
Check Share general information to let Colined gather anonymous performance and usage data. Check Share error statistics to allow Colined to collect essential data for maintaining system stability.
